Use of Force for Facilities

In this training course, designed specifically for detention officers, you will learn how to manage and resolve encounters successfully without using force.

Attendees will explore a wide variety of de-escalation strategies, which will allow them to manage stressful and challenging interactions with detainees successfully.

Commander Josef Levy, Long Beach Police Department (ret)
Josef Levy has close to 30 years of law enforcement experience and is a highly skilled facilitator who has conducted trainings for thousands of law enforcement professionals throughout the country. He has also trained internationally, training law enforcement delegations from France, Germany, Israel, and Russia.
