Resiliency and Wellness in Public Safety
This course is designed to provide all Public Safety personnel (both sworn and professional staff) insight and awareness into the potential cost of working in public safety with the goal of increasing emotional wellness and preventing mental health issues.
Topics will include:
– The science of stress, gut health, and the “second brain”
– Anxiety, sleep, and insomnia
– Burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma
– The science and impact of trauma
– Addiction
– Suicide prevention
– Relationship health
– Strategies for increasing wellness and resiliency
The course also gives you an opportunity to increase self-awareness, emotional intelligence, as well as questionnaires on burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma, sleep disorders, and resilience.

She provides individual, couples and EMDR therapy, 24/7 crisis response services, critical incident debriefing, peer support development, oversight, training/presentations, consultation and active shooter response and recovery coordination/crisis response services.
