EMBASSY CONSULTING TRAINS PROBATION OFFICERS in CRISIS INTERVENTION

Today, Embassy was in San Leandro, California training Probation Officers from the Alameda County Probation Department in their Crisis Intervention & Behavioral Health Training.

Public Safety Officers are frequently called upon to manage incidents involving people with mental illness. This interactive training covered mental illness, stigma, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities and more. The training also featured a guest speaker, someone living with a mental illness who shared his experiences of living with a mental illness.

Our next CIT training course open to all public safety employees will be held in Westminster, California on October 17, 2024. To register, visit www.EmbassyConsultingServices.com

Today’s training titled “Empowered Policing” explored a wide variety of contemporary topics that Probation Officers are experiencing. I was very impressed with the level of engagement and the honest dialogue regarding the training topics.
