Embassy Consulting Services to Attend IADLEST Conference as Part of National Expansion and Certification Initiative

Los Angeles, CA – Embassy Consulting Services is proud to announce another exciting step in our national expansion and ongoing commitment to excellence in law enforcement training. As part of our mission to become the leading training provider for law enforcement agencies across the United States, we are excited to attend the 2025 IADLEST Annual Conference this June in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Representing Embassy at the conference will be Ron Bayne, Director of Training and Consulting, and Scott Robertson, Vice President of Training and Operations. The purpose of their attendance is to explore the benefits of obtaining national certification through the IADLEST National Certification Program (NCP)—a gold standard for law enforcement in-service training across the country.

About IADLEST and the National Certification Program

While fire and emergency medical disciplines have long benefited from national standards for continuing education, law enforcement has historically lacked a unified approach. Each state’s Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) commission sets its own criteria—ranging from comprehensive curriculum reviews to little or no oversight of vendor-provided training.

This inconsistency has made it difficult for agencies to identify high-quality, up-to-date, and legally defensible training. To address this gap, the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) created the National Certification Program (NCP) in 2015.

Key benefits of IADLEST NCP include:

  • Establishing uniform minimum standards for continuing education across law enforcement.
  • Ensuring that training is current, relevant, legally sound, and instructionally effective.
  • Providing national recognition accepted by participating POST organizations—helping agencies receive in-service or advanced training credit seamlessly.

By aligning with these national standards, Embassy Consulting Services aims to further elevate the quality and accessibility of its training offerings for departments across the country.

Strategic Growth and a New Digital Presence

Embassy Consulting Services has seen significant growth over the past several months, expanding our client base from California to more than eight additional states nationwide. This momentum has been supported by a full rebrand and the launch of a new website, reflecting our broader vision and national reach.

“We are committed to raising the standard of law enforcement training across the country,” said Scott Robertson, VP of Training and Operations. “Attending the IADLEST Conference is a key step in ensuring that our programs continue to meet the highest standards—both in content quality and national recognition.”
