Ron Bayne is a nationally recognized law enforcement leadership instructor and coach with over 30 years of experience. He served as a master instructor for the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA) from 2014-2024 and has taught thousands of police officers across North America, including Puerto Rico. In 2020, he was recruited by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards & Training Board to develop and deliver leadership training statewide. He created the Front Line Leadership course, a 3-4 day class focusing on professionalism, organizational culture, conflict resolution, and effective leadership in public safety organizations.

 

Ron’s Front Line Leadership course has become the flagship training for first-line supervisors in Arizona law enforcement and has been adopted by various agencies nationwide. Additionally, he was recruited by the Los Angeles Police Protective League to deliver this training to LAPD officers, impacting thousands of personnel. As a certified DISC instructor, Ron has administered the DISC behavioral profile to several thousand public safety professionals, enhancing leadership development and team dynamics across the sector.

 

A retired commander from Arizona law enforcement, Ron has also served in various educational roles, including adjunct faculty positions at multiple universities. He holds graduate degrees in Education/Human Relations and Criminal Justice. Beyond his professional achievements, Ron actively contributes to nonprofits like Preston’s Pursuit for Acceptance, which trains first responders in autism response, and Deep Sea Valkyries, supporting veterans and first responders through SCUBA excursions. His extensive career and dedication to law enforcement leadership continue to shape the profession.
