Today, thirty-eight civilian public safety leaders from throughout California graduated from Embassy Consulting Services’ Civilian Leadership Institute.

The goal of the Civilian Leadership Institute is to provide participants with the opportunity to develop skills and strategies in order to become engaging and effective leaders in their organization.

Today’s celebration culminates a five-month leadership journey that provided our graduates the opportunity to explore a wide variety of contemporary leadership topics that included human relations, leadership styles and leadership failures, emotional intelligence, effective communication, building high morale and highly effective teams, ethical decision-making, conflict resolution, critical thinking, wellness and self-care.

Graduates also worked collaboratively and completed group presentations, just yesterday, that explored:

§ The Value of Shadowing

§ Focusing Outward

§ Celebrating and Leveraging Cognitive Diversity

§ Letting your work speak for itself.

§ Improving sworn/civilian relationships

§ Engaging All Stakeholders

§ Hiring and Retention of Civilian Employees

Today, thirty-eight civilian public safety leaders from throughout California graduated from Embassy Consulting Services’ Civilian Leadership Institute.

The goal of the Civilian Leadership Institute is to provide participants with the opportunity to develop skills and strategies in order to become engaging and effective leaders in their organization.

Today’s celebration culminates a five-month leadership journey that provided our graduates the opportunity to explore a wide variety of contemporary leadership topics that included human relations, leadership styles and leadership failures, emotional intelligence, effective communication, building high morale and highly effective teams, ethical decision-making, conflict resolution, critical thinking, wellness and self-care.

Embassy Consulting Services has been delivering training to their agency for seven years and it’s always a great experience. Their employees are some of the highest caliber public safety professsionals I have worked with, not to mention how kind, friendly and hospitable they are.
