Procedural Justice and Police Legitimacy

This course is designed to create a broader awareness of procedural justice and its core principles and to instill in officers the importance of utilizing procedural justice as a means of increasing police legitimacy. This course also reinforces the importance of building and maintaining effective police-community relations.

 

This class allows participants to explore the realities and challenges of policing in today’s environment. They will also explore effective strategies in order to be an exemplary law enforcement professional and learn how to use procedural justice principles in order to build trust and increase police legitimacy.
