Derek Belisle graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2009 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Sport Management. From 2009-2019 he served as the Marketing Director for the Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) to give back and make an impact in the nonprofit world. In 2013, Derek, in his spare time, began helping Embassy improved its branding to provide a more cohesive and look and feel. Over the next few years we worked together to slowly transition systems and improve the user experience.
After parting ways with ANRF in 2019, Derek began his own marketing company, Belisle Marketing and Design, and freed up time to be a larger part of the Embassy team. Dedicated to ensuring that the online user experience with Embassy is top-notch and offers a seamless experience for all of our users. Maintaining the latest tools and information to create a positive customer experience for our partner organizations, departments, companies and students. And most recently expanding our video and webinar capabilities to allow Embassy trainings to reach you wherever you may be.
