In this fast-paced world, working with the public can be both rewarding and challenging. You can also experience added stress when working with difficult, challenging or demanding customers. Sometimes customers have a legitimate reason to be upset and sometimes they do not.

In either case, you should be prepared to deal with difficult customers and find ways to successfully manage and resolve these encounters.

Forty public safety professionals from throughout California attended Embassy Consulting Services Two-Day Basic Peer Support Training in Anaheim, CA.

In addition to their duties, these peer support team members will be providing support and resources to their colleagues. The training was facilitated by Heather Williams, PsyD from Premier First Responder Psychological Services, which is one of our strategic partners. Dr. Williams is the best in the business and she was able to share her passion and expertise.

Thank you to Chief Rick Armendariz and the Anaheim Police Department for hosting this valuable training.
