This class will help participants understand popular culture and how it is impacting our youth. Those who attend will learn about the messages being sent to our youth today, both implicitly and explicitly.
This course will help you gain a better understanding of millennials, their unique language and way of thinking. This course is also designed to improve communication between adults and youth by identifying the “noise” that is generated from popular culture.
The presentation will offer examples from music, television, movies, the Internet and video games that impede communication between youth and adults. A communication model will be used to demonstrate how popular culture competes for the loyalty and attention of young people. This presentation contains ADULT THEMES and is not suitable for young people but is a must see for all parents and professionals who works with youth.
