Embassy Consulting Services, LLC, in partnership with the Tustin Police Department presents:

Middle East, Terrorism & the Threats to U.S. Law Enforcement

General Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, and who was described as the second-most powerful official in Iran, has been eliminated. The escalation of tensions between the United States and Iran has local law enforcements on alert, and they have been advised to remain vigilant while the elusive enemy and its tradecraft remains in the shadows.

The events in faraway lands are making U.S. law enforcement ask themselves if and how this may affect their neighborhoods. This updated training course will provide students with a brief history of terrorism and radical Islam, and will probe the current maze of Middle East political landscape. It will also include material that will clarify how the events outside our borders may affect every day policing.

Presenter: Detective Abe Ashabi
