A virtual training course presented by Embassy Consulting Services, LLC:
Managing Courageous Conversations About Race
Courageous conversations are dialogues in which people discuss “difficult topics” with honesty, vulnerability and where parties listen to better understand each other’s perspectives. In today’s diverse workplaces, many cultural intersections have the potential to collide. Topics around race, diversity and cultural issues are typically the “elephant in the room” because most people are not equipped with the tools to successfully initiate and manage courageous conversations around these issues.
If not managed effectively, conflicts can emerge and the workplace can become toxic. It can also impact relationships and the delivery of services. This virtual training will provide attendees with education and effective tools to successfully initiate and engage in courageous conversations and to become comfortable talking about race and ethnicity
