Policing in the 21st century has become increasingly more complex and challenging, especially as a supervisor or leader. Today, more than ever, supervisors must be skilled and adept to handle a wide variety of supervisory issues, stay current on changes in legislation, while trying to balance the needs of their employees, their department and the community they serve.

This interactive training will explore the contemporary issues in law enforcement and will discuss strategies to effectively supervise and lead in the evolving law enforcement profession.  This course is designed for all public safety supervisors from the rank of corporal, sergeant, lieutenant or those aspiring to promote.

Chief Gallucci is a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience. He began his career with the City of Long Beach in 1987 then joined the City of Carlsbad in 1990 as a police officer and worked his way up through the ranks. He served as police chief from 2015 until his retirement in 2021. Chief Gallucci facilitates training courses to a wide variety of law enforcement professionals and brings his experience and passion to all his audiences.
